How to brew
Brewing hot
Brewing is essential to making a good cup of tea, so we would love to guide you to get the best out of our infusion teas.
We recommend boiling fresh cold water and let brew for 5 minutes for all of our blends. It varies depending on how strong you like your tea. So make sure you find your own brewing time. One bag is perfect for two cups. For the best experience, brew in a small teapot or large mug.
Then you can pour more water on the same fruits for a second cup. And if you are making a pot, we also recommend using only one bag which you leave in the teapot.
Brewing cold
If you like your teas cold we have a recommended brewing in cold ice water for 5-7 minutes for all of our blends. It varies depending on how strong you like your tea. So make sure you find your own personal brewing time. One bag is perfect for two cups. Drink in a tall glass, full of ice cubes.. very refreshing!
Then you can pour more water on the same fruits for a second cup. And if you are making a jug, we also recommend using only one bag.
What to drink your tea in
We like to drink our hot tea from Williams Sonoma double-Wall glass latte mugs as shown above in the photo. For iced teas use a taller glass with ice cubes. We are also big fans of vintage glassware!
How to store your tea
To maximize freshness, all of With The Sun infusion teas come in airtight food-composable eco bags. If you'd like to store it any other way, make sure to use an airtight container. Other containers might transfer odor or light spoiling the quality and taste.
We recommend storing the container in a dark, cool and dry place free from strong odors, heat and direct light. Remember to tightly close the container every time to ensure that the tea maintains its freshness, flavor and aroma.
Although tea doesn't go bad, we recommend drinking our tea within 6 months of purchase. After the bag has been opened we recommend drinking it on that day.
